Re: Party Day, Mid-year Holidays, and Parents Teachers Day
We would like to remind all parents to read our monthly Newsletter for the monthly relevant information. From now on, most of the important dates and events will be summarized in a monthly newsletter. Or most conveniently, you can log onto our website at http://www.juaracerdik.blogspot.com/ to check us out in JC!
1. Party Day
Please let your child bring some yummy but healthy food to share with their friends at Party Day. Remember to dress up for a Hawaiian Beach Party! There is a prize waiting for the best dressed coolest kid! There will be no after school programme on 23rd May 2008 (Friday)
2. Mid-year School Holidays
Mid-year school holidays start from 24th May to 8th June 2008. School resumes as normal on Monday, 9th June 2008.
3. Parents Teachers Day
First semester’s Parents Teachers Day is amended to Saturday, 14th June 2008. Time is from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

This friday party DAY
To rhyme with the recent hot weather, we are having a “Hawaiian Beach Party” on the last day of this semester, 23rdMay 2008. Dress your child in the coolest beach wear or Hawaiian-Aloha knock-out costumes or be a pineapple! Be as creative as you can and BE COOOOL! Best dressed beach boy/girl will win a prize. On top of that, we will also have a hula hoop dance competition. Don’t miss out this cool party!
Grass-skirt, sunglasses, swim-wear, bright floral Hawaiian shirt, colourful Bermudas, cool hat.

Music Mart (age 5)
The after school program once again bringing the children age 5 to visit the music mart where they get to feel, see and experience the musical instrument that the shop has. They had a great time there and learn the names of the instrument.
“Clara’s Dream”
“Clara’s Dream” is our chosen drama and dance production for our annual concert in JC 2008! In preparation for this concert, we would need your help as much as possible in various areas. One of the areas would be costumes and accessories making. We need your assistance to see that the preparations of costumes and accessories be completed before the full-dressed rehearsals. Interested parents kindly see teacher Annie Low, person-in-charge of costumes, or teacher Stephanie.
Other areas which required assistance are:
- Props making
- Carpentry
- Nutcracker Suite Music
- Backstage assistants
- Decoration
- Hampers and gift packs preparations
- Make-up artists

Music Mart (age 6)
The children of after school program had fun by visiting a music shop that belongs to uncle Edwin. He kindly show all the instruments that he own to the children. They like it the most with banging here and there...
