Annoucement: School Holidays, Party Day and HFMD

Dear Parents,

1. Early Start of Mid-Year Break
We would like to inform all parents that since mid of last week, there have been 15 cases of Chickenpox found in our school. All students that were confirmed with the virus are currently quarantine at home.

As the incubation period of Chickenpox is about 2 weeks, and the recovery period is about 2 weeks, we would like to start the mid-year school holidays slightly earlier. We hope that we can contain the virus from spreading any further during this period. Therefore, we would like to start the Mid-year break on 28/May (Thu), and the last day of school is on 27/May (Wed).

Kindly note the changes below:

(a) Mid Year School Holidays
     Date: 28 May 2015 (Thu) ~ 14 June 2015 (Sun)
School will resume on 15 June 2015 (Mon).

(b) Revised date and dismissal time for Party Day
      Date: 27 May 2015 (Wed)
      Time: 8.30am ~ 11.30am
      Theme: Hats Party

Kindly prepare some finger food for the children to share among their classmates on the party day.

Some notes for Party Day:

    * There will be NO AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMME on Party Day.
    * Please inform the relevant parties involved that school will be dismissed at
11:30 am on the party day.
    * Parents are not allowed to stay, and join the party. As usual, please leave
the school when we ring the school bell.

2. Hand Foot Mouth Disease (HFMD)

This week, there is 1 confirmed case of HFMD in our Age 5 class. The child is now being home quarantine. We continue to seek for your kind understanding and cooperation in this area, and kindly keep your child away from school if they are not well.

Regards,
TJC Management
